#SINGItForJapan ~ Killjoy Mission by Ray
Dear MCRMY,
It's time to call the MCRMY to arms. I mentioned last post that we would need your help. Now is the time. We've been working on an idea which will hopefully help raise money for the recovery effort in Japan. We would like you to know the idea was inspired by you, the fans.
After the news of the earthquake and tsunami spread, I did what most people did. I stopped and stared at the TV. I sat at the computer, constantly refreshing CNN in hopes of some good news. And I went to Twitter to see what people were saying. I noticed a hash-tag, "#SINGItForJapan," where you kids were writing messages of hope, saying prayers and sending your condolences and well wishes to survivors. It moved me in a profound way.
A week later, after talking with the guys about what we could do, here we are. I've been working backstage and on planes to put together a special version of SING. Our plan is to release it with all proceeds going to Red Cross Japan . We also feel we need a video to share on Facebook and YouTube, so this is where you come in.
We'd like to send messages of hope to Japan from people all over the world. We're asking for you to send video, pictures, drawings or written messages to the people of Japan. Go wherever your creativity and heart takes you. It could be as simple as you holding up a sign with "#SINGItForJapan " written on it, or anything else you can dream up. From what we've seen on tour, we know you guys can dream bigger than we ever could.
Don't be afraid to get your families involved. If you are inspired to do something alone, that's great too. But we encourage you to get a big group of people from your community together. We want Japan to know just how many people are behind them. The one request we have is for you to somehow include where you're from in your video, photo, or drawing. Using YouTube, Flickr, Twitpic, etc, upload your contribution. Remember to include the tag #SINGItForJapan. Then, send your submissions to us by filling out the form below.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to include everybody, but know that we will see everything, and your submission is meaningful and appreciated.

My Chemical Romance sacude a las masas en “Planetary (GO!)” ~ Por Joaquín Saavedra
My Chemical Romance tendrá, durante los próximos meses, una agenda bastante abultada: en cuanto abandone el continente americano después de numerosas fechas en Estados Unidos y Canadá, allá por junio, tendrá que pisar suelo europeo para presentarse en una sucesión frenética de festivales. Antes de encabezar Reading y Leeds, el conjunto norteamericano tendrá que pisar festivales como Dcode, Sonisphere y Oxegen. El único problema es que ha pasado un buen rato desde la aparición de Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys y la banda necesita causar un poco más de ruido para hacer sonar su llegada.
Es así que se mandó a hacer un video promocional para uno de los temas de éste, “Planetary (GO!)”, justamente para vender eso: la imagen de un grupo que demuestra mucha energía en el escenario y cuyos conciertos deben ser una obligación. A diferencia de los clips de ciencia ficción que los chicos lanzaron para los otros sencillos, el de esta oportunidad los muestra tocando en vivo con diversos efectos especiales que ofrecen un poco más de gancho visual.
Que se haya elegido a esa canción, que además de ser una de las mejores del disco presenta un estilo muy diferente a las demás que hay en él, también es parte del plan: para demostrar que My Chemical Romance puede compartir el escenario con bandas como Arctic Monkeys o Kasabian y que ello no sea mezclar cosas muy distintas, se usó su costado más bailable y alternativo, uno que hasta el lanzamiento de este álbum era prácticamente nulo. ¿Qué opinan del video?
Les voy a contar una cosita. El otro día fue el 15 de mi mejor amiga...En teoría los regalos son para ella. Pero ella me dio en mejor regalo que alguien puede dar. Puso NA NA NA en medio de toda la fiesta! La mayoría de la gente abandono la pista, pero no por no saber "bailar" sino porque eramos 8 gatos locos saltando y gritando a todo pulmón la letra. Uno de los mejores dias de mi vida...El próximo, sera cuando invadamos con Planetary (GO!).

Entrevista Spinner 15.O3.2O11
My Chemical Romance are currently out on the road supporting their latest album, 'Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys.' Even with the critical acclaim and topping the Billboard Rock charts, live isn't always peachy for the group. As guitarist Ray Toro reveals to Spinner, no amount of success will prevent you from electrocution. But overall, things are going great for the band, as you can see in our exclusive Q&A with Toro below.
What's the craziest thing that's happened on tour so far?
Electrocution! Our tour drummer had a run-in with a busted phone charger and an angry electrical outlet and zapped himself. Went to the hospital -- luckily everything was fine. We had a gig the same day and he had his best show yet, so I think we may do this to him now and again ...
What's in your touring survival kit?
Spare socks -- you can never have too many of those. MiFi (portable wi-fi hotspot) for when a venue has what we call "s---ernet." And a Pelican case a friend rigged up to hold my PS3 and TV to game on long bus rides.
Are you pleased with the reaction to the new album?
Absolutely. It was a long journey for us to finish this record, so that in itself felt like a victory. Now we've been able to play the songs live for people, and they go over just as good if not better then older material.
How has this tour differed from previous tours?
It's different from our 'Black Parade' tour in that the focus is more on the band and its performance than set pieces, blimps and pyro, although those props were right for the time. It feels more live now, more spontaneous. I've also noticed us enjoying the cities we've been hitting, making sure to go out and hang, getting the pulse of the place. In the past, things the speed of things was so breakneck we really didn't have that opportunity.
Which band that's active right now is doing good things for music?
I'm really happy that the Black Keys are doing well. It's good to see rock getting some attention. That's very important, given the pop-dominated music scene. Rock, especially at a live gig, does something to the body and soul that is very unique and special, so the more of this the better.

Frente a una autobuses turísticos aparcados en la columna vistazo Kjell en Oslo Spektrum de espera de 17 temporadas Ingrid Nelson Giaever y Ingvild Vøllo Eliassen nervioso, pero con paciencia.
